Get Started - The Evaluation
A business should be researched thoroughly prior to making an investment
decision. Studying informational materials and asking questions is a good
start, but it's not enough. A face-to-face meeting with the business
seller has traditionally been the best next step. However, the time and
travel cost for such a meeting is often significant, plus there's going to be
some bias in the information you receive. In contrast, IdeaVision offers a
unique evaluation approach that will save you a lot of time and money, while
providing you with the detailed and independent information you need to make a
good decision.
IdeaVision qualifies candidates for the Visionair Builder business in a
unique way. Prospective business owners participate in an evaluation
program at their own location to learn about the business in detail and research
their local market. A decision on whether or not to invest in the business
is made by the candidate based on their evaluation results. The program identifies those who
hold a strong belief in the business and are committed to being successful with
it.
Become a Candidate
Read about the business, ask questions and discuss it as much as you like.
The next step is to enroll in the evaluation program.
The evaluation is an enjoyable process that you
complete in your spare time without any pressure or risk. A 30-day period
is allocated so that you'll have plenty of time to complete the evaluation. Thus, you can
get started right away to determine if the business is right for you. If
the decision is yes, you're now prepared to smoothly transition
into the subsequent licensing, training and kickoff phase of your business.
What You'll Learn
The evaluation program consists of self-paced
activities that you perform at your location to quantify all aspects of the
business. The program provides an organized, step-by-step approach to help you:
- Learn how the visualization process works
- Research the local market
- Get feedback from potential clients
- Forecast market share and sales volume
- Estimate administrative and operating expenses
- Project income for the first three years
- Prepare startup plans
- Make an informed investment decision

Benefits
Our highly regarded program is appreciated by business opportunity seekers
who are rarely given an opportunity to explore the ins and outs of a business
beforehand. It's the right way to get started:
- Learn at your own pace in a relaxed environment
- Gain experience while continuing other activities
- Familiarize yourself with the visualization process
- Review your ideas with potential clients
- Develop realistic business financial projections
- Involve family and associates in the decision process
- "Test" IdeaVision's support and customer focus
- Make the best decision possible
Evaluation Fee - A Shared Investment
IdeaVision shares the cost of the program with you, the way a good
partnership should be. As a result, your evaluation fee is only
$125, plus a $75 refundable deposit on the Evaluation Kit ($200
total). If you decide to start the business, this amount is deducted from
the license fee so there is effectively no cost for the evaluation.
IdeaVision is willing to invest in you if you're a serious candidate.
The question is whether you're willing to invest a small amount in yourself?
The answer for the owners of our existing businesses was clearly yes, as each
and every one of them started this way.
Payment is typically charged to Visa or MasterCard, which gives you
convenience and full protection for the transaction. All figures are in US
Dollars. Shipping is included within the US (an additional $10 to Canada).
It's unreasonable to expect that you can research a serious business without
investing your own time and money. It's a small amount to
pay for the rare opportunity to experience a business beforehand. You'll be hard
pressed to find a lower risk or lower cost way to get started with a business.
Most businesses require a full investment and signed agreement up front
before you can see the detailed operation. In contrast, you can
begin exploring the Visionair Builder business firsthand by paying only a fee to cover the cost of
providing the evaluation program.
If you choose
not to start the business, simply return the evaluation materials in their original
condition and the $75 deposit is promptly refunded. In this case, the evaluation cost
was a smart investment to help you make the right decision for your situation. There is absolutely no
obligation or pressure to continue.
How to Enroll

The quickest way to enroll in the program is to call IdeaVision directly at
321-250-4800. If you prefer, you may request a call from IdeaVision
instead by completing the information form.
(Frequent questions are addressed at the end of this page if you would like to
view them first.)
Enrollment is done by phone to answer your questions and ensure that the
business fits your needs before time and money is committed to the evaluation.
The availability of your desired location is also verified. The
Evaluation Kit ships the next business day after enrolling, with a delivery time
of 2-3 days to most locations in the continental US (5-7 days in Canada).
Holding Back?
Don't let concerns hold you back from a good opportunity. If you have
concerns, then call to discuss them. Researching a business requires more
than reading web pages and sending e-mails.
Some may also have to come to grips with the requirement to invest both time
and money to research a business fully. Large business deals require a
huge expense to pay a team of experts. Don't hold back because
someone wrote that you shouldn't pay for information or to evaluate a business
or whatever form this comment comes in.
The bottom line...
It just makes good sense to spend a small amount
of time and money up front to make the best investment decision possible.
Successful investments are made through knowledge and proper planning, not fancy
seminars or sales pitches. Enrolling in the evaluation program is the
right way to get started on making an informed decision.
Frequent Questions
- How long do I need to spend on the evaluation?
The evaluation typically requires 16-24 hours of cumulative time to complete. However, you can easily break up the time into small increments throughout the
evaluation period, whenever it's best for you.
- How firm is the 30-day period?
Most people find that the 30-day period is sufficient to work in the
evaluation along with their normal activities. However, the period can
be extended if additional time is needed due to unforeseen events, vacation /
business trips, a desire to do more research, or for other reasonable
requests. Thus, you don't need to hold off just because you're not
sure what will happen during the next month. The intent is to give you
enough time to complete the evaluation to your full satisfaction.
- When is the best time to start?
All businesses require time to get up and running. As such, don't
wait until you want your business to be fully operational and
generating income for you. Ideally, plan to kick off your business at
least a couple of months ahead of time (the more time the better). Include
another month prior to the desired startup to complete your evaluation, which
is structured as a lead in to the business itself.
- Does a part-time startup make sense?
Most startup tasks can be done in your spare time without impacting current employment or
other activities. As a result, a part-time startup is a good approach
for anyone who would like to maintain their current income source. This strategy provides for an
orderly, low-stress startup. It gives you time to promote your business and do smart things
that benefit your business in the long run.
- What impact do territory considerations have?
It's impossible
to know when someone else will come along who is interested in your area.
Location requests are frequently turned down because a certain territory has been taken. Thus, the
risk of delaying the start of your evaluation and business should be factored into your
planning. One important benefit of the evaluation program is that it gives you
first rights to an available territory during your evaluation period.
- Why is a fee charged?
IdeaVision offers the evaluation program to help serious
candidates learn as much as possible about the business so that they can make an
informed decision. The fee covers a portion of the
expenses incurred by IdeaVision to support the program, thus making the program
possible. In this regard, we strongly discourage participation by anyone who has a
motive other than to consider investing in the Visionair Builder business.
- How does the deposit refund work?
If you decide not to start the business, you may return the Evaluation Kit to
receive a refund for your $75 deposit. Upon receipt, your refund is typically
processed within one business day. An
e-mail confirmation is sent to notify you of the refund. If you paid by charge
card, the deposit is credited back to the same card. Your account balance
should reflect this transaction within 2-3 business days. If you paid by any
other method,
you will receive a refund check.
- What will I be able to do with the imaging software?
The actual imaging system is provided to help you attain a basic understanding of
the visualization process. A hands-on tutorial and demo have been specially
created for this purpose.
Formal training is required to learn the advanced operation of the system.
Thus, you shouldn't expect to do actual projects at this stage. Instead, you're encouraged to focus
your available time on researching the business potential for your
market so that you can make a good investment decision. The evaluation
isn't intended to be a software trial, nor does it make any
sense to treat it as such.
- How much pressure is there to make a decision?
The intent of the evaluation is to let you make an independent decision.
As such, there are no pressure sales calls or other attempts to sway your
decision. We'll gladly answer any questions that you have and provide
information to assist you at the appropriate times, but will otherwise leave
you alone.
If your decision is no, we'll thank you for your participation and promptly
refund your deposit. This approach is in everyone's best interest.
It ensures that you'll be able to make an independent and unbiased decision,
which in turn provides IdeaVision with a strong team of business owners to
carry the business forward.
